The sausage board is a solid, elongated cutting board with a hollow. The stracke or awl sausage is certainly in the hollowed board. You can safely grip the sausage with the wooden board and cut sausage slices of any thickness.
Very practical: The sausage cutting board is flattened at the front so that there is a cut edge.
